    It’s kind of sad that this book, one I haven’t touched since school (five years ago), is the one on top.

    “In his treatment of the voice Donizetti followed the lead first of Rossini, then of the Bellini of La sonnambula and after.”

    The New Grove Masters of Italian Opera, by six guys who are undoubtedly old and white (one is named Mosco Carner… what a name!)

    An example of the baseline distortions observed if the signal phase is not correctly adjusted is given in Figure 3.13. In some cases, baseline distortions may be present even if sampling delays are properly taken into account. These distortions result from corruption of the first few points in the FID.
