As you can see, my orange arrived. CD for scale. So now I have plenty of yellow and orange to last through Christmas.

You know what I don’t have?

RED.

You’re killing me, Brown Sheep, you’re killing me.

At least the pattern is such that you can do the orange and yellow bits while you’re waiting? And then have a massive flap-fest when the red comes in? 🙂

A friend of mine knits stocking stitch hats in her spare time to donate to the homeless and she’s up to 112 this year. She has declared that she is bored. (www.need2knit.blogspot.com) I can’t imagine how bored of these you must be now!

Heh. I have to knit something else about every five hats or else I go crazy. Nobody can knit 100 of something in a row without getting bored out of their gourd.

The sheer volume of yarn you go through just boggles the mind.

I’m just glad they can get the wool without killing the sheep. I don’t need “mass sheep murderer” on my conscience.

It’s only a little, but would you like the red I have leftover from your kit back? You could use it for pompom making at the very least. I know it is dwarfed in scale by the amount of red you really need… But whatever I can do to help get more people sporting Jayne hats I am willing to do!
