Gnarly to the max.

On a less serious note, I had a lot of time to knit in waiting rooms today and didn’t bring enough Jayne hat yarn with me to get more than one done, so I did a lot of knitting on the sock. I loved it at the toe, but now… well… I’m loving it less. I want a second opinion.
So, bearing in mind that the line of red at the toe is a lifeline and not part of the yarn, question!

    I selected the 80’s legwarmer option, but I don’t think that’s a bad thing. 😉

I think they’re awesome as is. I love the wacky striping that looks so architectural!

so is that regular stripey yarn but with the funky patterning in the shortrows?

Yep! It’s actually this yarn. It’s stripey, but in different widths, which does create some interesting differences in the triangles.

I voted for They’re good … but I also wanted to click on the 1980’s legwarmer! Which is a good thing in my book ::grins:: I love these and would totally steal them if given half a chance. But then, as has been proven in the past – I love blues.

I like the vividness of the colors, and the triangle-ness instead of normal stripes. I think these will be awesome socks.

I answered “Meh.” but as a sort of “I don’t love it, but I don’t hate it either” answer.

I was a Meh. The blues are you but with the purple and green, it’s occasionally not quite you, at least not in that pattern. So it’s like it’s trying really hard to BE a tvini but is only currently achieving pseudotvini. Like a doppelganger with the wrong eye color or something 😀 But if you approach it from THAT perspective, the sock looks dandy!
