This is sort of like when they colorized a lot of those old black and white movies. I hate hate hate watching the colorized ones because they don’t feel right.

Look at it this way: Those 18-year veterans of Trek-dom won’t be out of a job; they’re making themselves a new one. Two more self-supporting, Social-Security-paying, Medicare-earning individuals in our society. It’s called make-work.

god. this is like the folly of Greedo shooting first all over again. Mixed with the stupidity of a computer-generated Jabba.

And all because they can’t seem to come up with an origional idea. ::sighs:: I can’t believe they are going to try and take away our beloved mistakes. Fans LOVE knowing where the mistakes are and looking for them. There are LOTS of hi-tech options out there to watch. But there’s only one swinging 60’s retro rockin enterprise. They shouldn’t be allowed to mess with our memories like that.

I’m not a Trekkie by any stretch of the imagination (and I forgive you for being one yourself) but I feel for you and all the fans. This is an abomination.

“The upgraded episodes — to be shown out of order…”

    Why?

As if it wasn’t bad enough already.

Thank you! We don’t love it despite the cheese! We love it for the cheese! What next, they’ll get someone to digitally tone down Shatner’s overacting? C’mon!

Also, they’re going to digitally replace Leonard Nimoy with a rutabaga. I mean, if you’re going to screw up a classic, you might as well go all the way.

    Morons.
