I told you I was indecisive.
So now I’m thinking that for my Secret Santa, I may knit a pair of felted slippers: Fuzzyfeet from Knitty. However, I am contemplating sending the recipient the ginormous unfelted slippers and a zippered pillowcase, so that they can have the science project fun of throwing them in a hot-water washing machine and letting them get down to the perfect size.
Good idea? Bad idea?
If I do it, go with something subdued, or something rainbowy and crazy??
ETA: Now I hear through the grapevine that my intended recipient may not have a washing machine. ARRGGGH!!

I would say to knit them using some of the darker crazy rainbow colors and let them have science project fun; however, if your vic … er … Secret Santa doesn’t have access to a washing machine, then they may not think it would be as fun as I do.

I was going to say rainbowy and crazy.. then I saw that tasty tasty green and was torn..

I want a pair of fuzzies. ::sulks:: I have two pairs of slippers — one is gigantic floppy-eared mice, and one Winnie the Pooh. But they’re both heavy and bulky and not optimal for walking around. I wear heavy socks for normal household use.
