Talk of Serenity 2? Wash wouldn’t steer us wrong, would he? Since I can’t bear to have my hopes dashed, I’m going to file this under “I’ll believe it when I see it.” Of course, while playing it cool, I’ll still be thinking of Big Damn Sequels when I pull the Thanksgiving wishbone. (Vegetarians, I’ll serve a tofurkey when it comes with a tempeh wishbone. I’m not giving up my wishbone!)
I was finally confirmed as Regional Manager of Dunder Mifflin Infinity, Wilmington branch! The folks running the site apparently didn’t expect the participation levels that they got, so they’re still working out some glitches. Wilmington has about 270 employees so far. I believe that tonight’s episode of The Office will feature DMI as a plot point, so we’ll see if the numbers swell. Meanwhile, I’m asking all of my employees to report to the shore for some mandatory beach fun.

When the collector’s edition first came out, Joss had said something similar about the possibility of a sequel if DVD sales were good enough to tempt the studios into giving it a green light. I would hope that it wouldn’t go direct to DVD, though.
