Probably everybody has already seen these, but if not, they’re worth posting.

I swear, it’s the worst thing since Lilek’s Gallery of Regrettable Food. But then, I love that whole site.

Health update

By the way, for those who were asking: I’m still very tired, and I’m coughing, but my fever is gone. I’ll take it easy tomorrow, since my daughter will be back in school, and try to get extra rest. NOBODY wants a relapse.

But not much, I think. Regardless, my geek husband will be stunned.

[Tribanin] I’ll (send him) some messages of the prince telling one of the guards to give him the special treatment all those who commit treason deserve.
[Tvini] oooh! Does that include special party hats? I love party hats.

Gimme that sandwich

Because I’m sick, I don’t want to start any new knitting projects for anyone else lest I send bad germs along with the good vibes. So I decided to start the Charlotte’s Web shawl for myself, since I had enough of the called-for yarn, Koigu KPPPM. I was less than 20 rows in when I saw this comment in the knitting community about something someone else was saying:

“But then if you knitted the lace shawl then you’d have to wear it and you’d end up looking like Mama Cass. I’ll take the blankie.”

Oh. My. God. She’s right. I’m going to look like Mama Cass in this thing.

Well, crap. Back to the drawing board.
