Go, go gadget capitalism!

Not because I’m trying to be grabby, but more to remind myself of things I actually want when I have disposable income, it’s time for another installment of…

My Amazon.com Wish ListYe Olde Amazon Wishlist. This is fairly self-explanatory.

Enemy Chocolatier. A board game revolving around chocolate. And as we all know, chocolate makes anything better.

Big shampoo. This stuff is some majorly freaky feeling glop, but it makes my hair look great.

Knit rings, size 8. Too expensive, but I love ’em. I’ll get one for myself one day.

“Wash Is My Co-Pilot” license plate frame Because I’m just that geeky. Similarly…

Fruity Oaty Mug
. Because I’d sing that song every time I used it.

Wonder Wonder Grownup Underoos, size L or XL. Yes, I will hum the theme and spin around the room. No, I will not upload the video to YouTube.

Yarn dyeing kit from Hello Yarn. I enjoyed the Merike Saarniit workshop and the dyeing I’ve done on my own. More professional tools would be good to have. And how thoughtful is she to include the dust mask?

I know I’m forgetting things, but there you have it. 🙂

Once upon a time I was going to make a Wash is my Copilot t-shirt. But then I thought it would get tiring explaining to everyone what it meant (I know from experience for this, because I had an “I like big Hutts” shirt and no one got it).

Geekdom is awesome, but the normals can be trying.

Actually, I think you’d be surprised at how many would understand your shirt. I have baseball cap with just the symbols for Serentiy on it, and I get comments on it all the time from fans I run into – and I live here in anti-scifi central (well, unless you’re into alien abduction…)

You’re a lot more modest in your capitalistic desires than I am. I made the mistake of stumbling across this one day, and now my list looks more like a “List of things I want but will probably never have”

(Though I have to admit, if they make a superman underoo in a 3x…)

And now I have the Wonder Woman theme stuck in my head.

I still need to make a Blue Sun t-shirt.

I know it wasn’t your intent, but you have made my friend Lisa’s day. I sent her the Underoo link and she’s squeeing all over the place. Oh, the incongruity of a lay sister wearing Wonderwoman Underoos! It will look great with her rosary.

…I’d buy them for my husband.

GOD, I can relate. Our little cat (see icon) is named Wash, and I have to tell my retirement-age neighbor what his name is EVERY TIME I SEE HER, because she never remembers, and she always gives me this “WTF were you thinking?” look when I tell her “His name is Wash.” That’s the price you pay for giving your pets geeky names. (I won’t go into the dubious wisdom of naming the dog Gambit, not realizing that when he gets out and you have to call him, it sounds like you’re wandering around the neighborhood screaming “DAMMIT!!” But I digress…)

Heh. We have an orange cat named Nerys, after Kira Nerys from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. We had a contest on my husband’s old computer bulletin board (she’s that old) and that name edged out “Zanzibar” by a nose. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to spell it at the vet’s. It’s pronounced ner-EESS, and the conversations go on forever about how to spell it. It’s not their fault, but man does it get old.

It’s a select group, that’s for sure. You’re going for quality, not quantity!

When I furnish my evil lair, that chair and desk combo will go perfectly. I’ll get a little button installed that makes a trap door open in front of the desk. Mwahahahahaaaa…

Ha! I’d go for Batman. He’d stand and pose and say, “I’m Batman.” Equally possible: lie on his back with his feet on the wall pretending he’s climbing up it.

Hee hee! Remind her to get some cuff bracelets, so she can deflect evildoers’ bullets.

Oh my god. Now I totally need to get some cuff bracelets and paint stars on them. Or knit some.

Didn’t Stich ‘n Bitch have cuffs with stars? At least that way the charting is done. Or was it the bikini? Still… stars, already charted.

Maybe I’ll knit her a pair of cuffs. She’d get a major kick out of that.

    Heh

My cat (the one pictured here) is Seasdaih. I got so tired of trying to explain it to the vet’s that I made them spell her name phonetically (sp?) on her folder. So now all our reminder cards for her come addressed to “Shacy”.

I love trying to explain our cats’ names

    In order, they are:

    Hunter
    Runs-With-Scissors
Honey (the only one we didn’t name)
    Little Eric
    Debris
    Erin
    Lt. Dan
    Ditto

Anybody know anyone who wants kittens? 5 more showed up on our doorstep…. Sigh….
