Baby baby baby!

So a conservative friend of mine – yes, I do have a few conservative friends, bless their misguided hearts – took an informal poll around her neighborhood in Ohio. Based on the number of signs supporting McCain or Obama, she predicts McCain to take it.

So now, via , here’s a method which is just as scientific and infinitely cuter. I present to you http://yeswecanholdbabies.wordpress.com/ . Ask yourself: which candidate looks better holding a baby? THAT, my friends, is who will win the race.

Cute! (we have a picture of Kitty Ducacas holding my brother when he was a baby.)

I went to a street fair two weekends ago, and my informal street fair poll is all Obama. Hundreds of people in Obama gear, and exactly 2 in McCain (and one was working the McCain booth. Poor guy looked miserable.)

Aw. Well, he’ll be able to rest soon enough. And bask in the glow of an Obama presidency. Woot!

    Naw, naw, naw …

That’s not a fair sampling. 😛 They didn’t include ANY photos of McCain or Palin holding babies. As for who looks best, I submit to you that Palin looks best holding a baby. 🙂

Truth be told, I wish we had different candidates running. ::sigh:: I’m not fond of McCain, I can’t stand Obama, Biden pisses me off and Palin seems like a very nice lady, but she’s got almost as little experience as Obama. Unfortunately, this is the political hand we’ve been dealt unless we want to toss our vote away and vote for the Libertarian candidate. I can’t stomach the thought of tossing my vote out — might as well not even vote, y ‘know?

Yeah, I’ve had my years too where it’s the lesser of two evils. This year, though, although I wish he had a few more years under his belt, I’m actually feeling pretty good about Obama. I’m savoring the feeling of voting FOR someone rather than AGAINST the other person, because God only knows when it’ll happen again.

Besides. There’s one McCain baby picture tossed in there. Yeah, it’s partisan, but it’s not exactly Obama in a turban (COUGH COUGH).
