This one’s pretty easy, and you don’t get too many dishes dirty. I like it because I always have cocoa powder around the house, since I like to make hot cocoa from scratch whenever snow’s in the forecast.<\/p>\n
BODACIOUS BROWNIES<\/b><\/p>\n
1\/2 cup butter or margarine (whatever it is, it should be solid, not in a tub.)
\n1 cup white sugar
\n1\/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
\n2 eggs
\n1 teaspoon vanilla extract<\/p>\n
1 cup all-purpose flour
\n3\/4 t baking powder
\n1\/4 t salt<\/p>\n
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 8×8″ baking pan.<\/p>\n
Combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.<\/p>\n
Melt butter in saucepan. Remove from heat, stir in sugar and cocoa. Beat in eggs, 1 at a time, then stir in vanilla.<\/p>\n
Stir dry ingredients into chocolate mixture until just blended. (This may be a workout for your arm!) Spread into pan.<\/p>\n
Bake for 25 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted into the center comes out clean.<\/p>\n
Cool in pan, preferably on wire rack.<\/p>\n
