I got a couple of skeins of worsted-weight yarn from South America via Handpaintedyarn.com’s<\/a>ebay store, some Lamb’s Pride worsted in color Clematis<\/a> to make a Coronet hat<\/a> with, two skeins of Lorna’s Laces<\/a> in a blue\/green\/purple variegated colorway called “Lakeview” to make socks with (I’ve never done that before!), and two little balls of white angora (Grignasco Princesse from Spain)<\/a> to make teeny fuzzy baby booties with. I might try to dye the angora, but I’m kind of afraid to. My last dyeing experiment didn’t go so hot. Maybe if I used something besides Kool-Aid…<\/p>\n Okay, that’s the splurge.
