{"id":435,"date":"2004-11-14T15:53:00","date_gmt":"2004-11-14T19:53:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kissmyknits.com\/?p=435"},"modified":"2004-11-14T15:53:00","modified_gmt":"2004-11-14T19:53:00","slug":"knitting-on-demand","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kissmyknits.com\/?p=435","title":{"rendered":"Knitting on demand!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I had a friend and her daughter who admired <a href=\"http:\/\/www.booboomonkey.com\/tvini\/coronet.jpg\">the coronet I knit,<\/a> and so I am knitting them each one in their choice of color.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tvini.org\/images\/bluecoronet.jpg\">The daughter&#8217;s is done.<\/a>  The mother&#8217;s will be started tonight.  I did mine in <a href=\"http:\/\/store.nobleknits.com\/gawobypl.html\">Galway<\/a>, but these will actually be done in the recommended yarn, <a href=\"http:\/\/brownsheep.com\/lp.html\">Lamb&#8217;s Pride worsted<\/a> (unless I hear otherwise from the mama half of the hat duo).  The Galway is a little bit softer, I think, but the Lamb&#8217;s Pride is a blend of wool and mohair with the mohair giving the wool a nice bit of sheen.  They&#8217;re both good yarns to work with.<\/p>\n<p>The daughter&#8217;s hat actually looks *better* than my hat, because I learned from doing the first one.
