So I’m pretty friendly with the folks at the local bagel shop, but lately the old guy in the back (every place has an old guy in the back) has gotten friendlier, too. So here’s an actual conversation from today:<\/p>\n
Him:<\/b> “Hi, sweetheart!”
\nMe:<\/i> “Hi! How are you? You look worn out today!”
\nHim:<\/b> “I am! I was up late abusing myself.”
\nMe:<\/i> “Uh… heh heh. Well, sometimes…”
\nHim:<\/b> “Too much red wine, staying up too late…”
\nMe:<\/i> “Well, you have to live a litt..”
\nHim:<\/b> “Sometimes, you know, you just gotta let the badger loose!”
