The timeline looks right if the original Gold Dust twins started their act when <a href=\"http:\/\/articles.chicagotribune.com\/1987-09-16\/news\/8703100089_1_mr-curry-william-curry-gold-dust-twins\" target=\"blank\">William Curry<\/a> was 8 in 1891.  Of course, it&#8217;s always possible that they had these two kids as a mascot and then later dubbed them the Gold Dust Twins.<\/p>\n<p>I could be wrong.
