I&#8217;ve got some in a beautiful cabernet, but apparently there&#8217;s a run on fuzzy black yarn across the entire country.  See, knitting is really hot right now (finally!  I&#8217;m in on a trend!) and one of the biggest things going right now is the &#8220;scarf in an hour&#8221; craze.  See, if you get big needles and fuzzy yarn, you can knit up a really cool fluffy scarf without a big investment of time.  You only need to know one stitch, too!  The problem is that I want to make <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uglygreenchair.com\/knit\/cousin\/cousin.html\">this scarf<\/a> but I can&#8217;t get the black.  Nuts.<\/p>\n<p>On the up side, the <a href=\"http:\/\/brownsheep.com\/lp.html\">Lamb&#8217;s Pride bulky<\/a> for the husband&#8217;s manly hat arrived in the mail today.  One skein oatmeal, one Turkish olive, one black.  So I can make him (at his request) a hat to match his green convertible.  Of course, if it&#8217;s going to be cold enough to wear the hat, it&#8217;s going to be too cold to put the top down, but it&#8217;s the principle of the thing.  I&#8217;m planning on using the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jejune.net\/diy\/archives\/002125.html\">Hothead pattern<\/a> from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bust.com\/knithappens\/thebook.shtml\">Stitch &#8216;N Bitch<\/a>, a book I heartily recommend to anyone who wants to learn to knit.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ll keep you posted, as I know you are all on the edge of your seats!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Just some Le Fibre Nobili &#8220;Geisha&#8221; yarn.
