\nWhat are your fiber-related hobbies? (Knit, Crochet, Spinning, Needlepoint, etc.)<\/i><\/b> – I knit, spin, and dye.
\nHow long?<\/i><\/b> – Knitting, if you count high school, 20 years. Seriously for the last six or so. Spinning and dyeing, less than a year.
\nWhich are you *most* into? <\/i><\/b>– Knitting, followed by spinning.
\nHow would you classify yourself in this craft – beginner, intermediate, advanced?<\/i><\/b> – Advanced, because although I don’t often get the opportunity to go for complex projects, I’m always willing to learn new things.<\/p>\n
What is your current fiber-related obsession? <\/i><\/b>– I don’t know that I really have one. It’s all about the knitting, baby! What other crafts or Do-It-Yourself things do you like to do?<\/i><\/b> – Beading, and a little embroidery.<\/p>\n About the fiber:<\/b> About the tools:<\/b> About you:<\/b> Your favorite color(s)?<\/i><\/b> – blue, followed by green and purple. I like things in the cooler range. Is there anything that you collect?<\/i><\/b> – I’m actually trying to reduce clutter. Unsuccessfully. I’m like a nerdy magpie. Do you have an online wish list (e.g. Amazon, Things I Want)? If so, share the link. If nothing else, it will give your Godmother more ideas about your likes\/dislikes.<\/i><\/b> – My Amazon wishlist<\/a>. Please note that I am not picky about free stuff, and am always happy to receive used items as gifts.<\/p>\n
\nWhat are your favorite items to make?<\/i><\/b> – I like kicky and unusual hats. Also, I’ve got a couple of sweaters in the queue, and I’d like to make more. Socks are a given.
\nWhat are you making right now?<\/i><\/b> – 1233375034 Jayne hats<\/a>. Also, a pair of Regia bamboo socks and a sweater for my daughter.<\/p>\n
\nYour favorite yarn(s) (brand or type)?<\/i><\/b> – Wool, angora, other animal fibers.
\nWhat fibers do you absolutely *not* like?<\/i><\/b> – I’m not crazy about acrylic or most cottons.
\nIs there a yarn you’ve been dying to try?<\/i><\/b> – Nope – I’m happy to knit with whatever comes my way!
\nAre you a fiber snob?<\/i><\/b> – Embarassingly, yes.<\/p>\n
\nHardwood, Bamboo, Aluminum, Plastic? <\/i><\/b>– I’m not nuts about plastic.
\nFor knitters: Straight, DPN or Circular needles?<\/i><\/b> – Circs, with DPNs running second.

\nWhat does an ideal day off\/free hour consist of for you?<\/i><\/b> – Since I got about four hours of sleep last night, right now I gotta go with napping.

\nWhat’s your favorite scent? (for candles, bath products etc.)<\/i><\/b> – I like fresh, clean scents and citrusy ones.
\nLeast favorite? (Maybe you’re not “allergic,” but it makes you want to die)<\/i><\/b> – Heavy florals, especially since they usually have lavender notes.
