{"id":114,"date":"2004-05-25T22:47:00","date_gmt":"2004-05-26T02:47:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kissmyknits.com\/?p=114"},"modified":"2008-04-06T15:02:38","modified_gmt":"2008-04-06T19:02:38","slug":"felt-bag-this-time-done-right","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kissmyknits.com\/?p=114","title":{"rendered":"Felt bag &#8211; this time, done right!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>You may remember the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.booboomonkey.com\/tvini\/mistakepostfelt.jpg\">pink felted bag<\/a> I made, to which I had <a href=\"http:\/\/www.booboomonkey.com\/tvini\/mistakebottom.jpg\">incorrectly affixed the handles.<\/a>  It was for a little girl named Brianna, and she had already seen the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.booboomonkey.com\/tvini\/mistakeprefelt.jpg\">unfelted version,<\/a> so I really did have to make another one correctly.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.booboomonkey.com\/tvini\/Briannabag2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.booboomonkey.com\/tvini\/Briannabag2.jpg\" hspace=\"5\" vspace=\"5\" align=\"right\" height=\"200\"><\/a>Well, it&#8217;s finished!<\/p>\n<p>She said she wanted her name, so I put that on there, and she wanted some flowers.  Flowers didn&#8217;t seem to look quite right with the name also on there, so needle-felted some spirally doo-dads instead.<\/p>\n<p>This is the Fiber Trends <a href=\"http:\/\/www.yarnware.com\/web\/yarnware\/yarnware.nsf\/0\/110AA00D5D53845385256E7A000BE32E?OpenDocument\">&#8220;Flowers On-The-Go&#8221;<\/a> tote.  The pattern has been corrected since I made it the first time, but there&#8217;s still an error in the closure flap.  Frankly, three errors in one pattern doesn&#8217;t inspire a lot of confidence in me to buy their other patterns, but I may give it a go.  On the other hand, I feel like I&#8217;ve learned enough since I made the first one that I could probably wing it and make my own patterns.  Here&#8217;s hoping Brianna enjoys it.  Her younger sister has already put in a request for a blue bag, but this one with a pocket on it!
