Hee!

This hat ranks on up there with the chicken hat.

I think the pending parents on my knit list should be very afraid.

ETA: Someone on the Craftster boards suggested making the earflaps be yellow with long blonde braids. Baby Valkyrie!

Hrm. Think I could commission one for the baby of a certain GM who lives in my area, or are you already a step ahead of me?

Heh. I’m still mulling over baby gifts, so I’m sure we can work something out. Just the thing for the baby who loves to nap, pillage, and plunder.

By the way, someone in my stitch ‘n’ bitch was doing cabled socks last night and lost track of how many rows she’d done since the last cable. (They were tiny little cross-over cables, it was hard to see.)

I showed her your row counters, and she thought that was a really cool solution. Go you!

    Ruby Slippers

Yes indeed, go you! I’m going to sit down and make one tonight. Enough is enough with those stupid socks.

Here’s the link to the ruby slipper booties I was telling you about.

Oh My GOD! I sooooooooo wish I’d have known something like that was possible a few months ago. It would have been the perfect hat to have Baby Keagan wear for Brandi’s wedding last weekend! Just before we headed down the isle, the groomsmen all pulled helmets and swords off the wall and geared up. One of the guys wore an actual horned helmet, and Keagan wearing that would have just been the best thing EVER!

Yes, I think we need to talk. I think Keagan will need one of those for Christmas. ::nods::
