Clothes make the woman.

Yesterday and today I took a little extra care with my appearance, wearing non-sneaker shoes and button-down shirts. And yesterday and today I ran into people from my old workplace I haven’t seen in seven years. Quite the coincidence.

I actually bought new clothes last weekend, because I was down (again) to one pair of non-holey pants. The new pants are from Eddie Bauer, and they’re the “Vashon fit.” This cracks me up no end, because when I wear them I think that Vaschon is hugging my hips. They fit great, and I think I’ll go back for another pair at the earliest opportunity.

I’m also pleased to discover that I can still find flattering clothing in non-plus-size shops. Huzzah!

Well, my daughter is playing a Disney Channel internet version of Pitfall and having trouble with the vines/ropes. Time for an old Atari pro like me to step in!

I’m going to have to look into Eddie Bauer for pants. I heard the other day that they carry Tall lengths up to size 20, so I might actually be able to find a pair of pants that don’t make it look like I’m preparing for a flood.

I’d say definitely look into it. So far I’ve been impressed with their service. I found a great shirt while shopping, but it was only in the size above and below mine. At my request, they called another store to see if it was in stock. It was, and they offered to have it shipped to me. Since it’s not available in their catalog, they’re giving me free shipping. Yay!

I’m seriously thinking about buying more colors of these pants online, and maybe looking at the petite ones too. I’m 5’4″ and these may be just a hair long. I’m one of those who always has to roll up sleeves and hem pants – short little limbs. But first, I want to wash the pair I’ve got to be sure they don’t shrink!

Good deal. I’m 5’10”, and regular length pants are always too short. Most clothing manufacturers don’t seem to make tall lengths in sizes over 12, because you obviously can’t be both tall and fat. (not that I think over a 12 is fat – but that just seems to be the sizing rational)

There’s an EB at one of the malls here, I’ll have to give it a try.

I want those pants. Shame shipping to oz is $20.. that makes them rather pricey. Although I have been looking for some nice chino type pants – nicer than jeans, less nice than “dress pants” and I’m coming up short. Hmmmmmmm.

Walk in style! Everyone should have Vaschon hugging their hips. Well, the females anyway.

    Those are very nice looking.

I’ll have to wait until after I see how weight loss post-kidlet2 will go before I spend that much on a pair of pants, though (I love ’em! Just wouldn’t wanna spend that and then be out of them in a couple of months – either from losing or gaining back weight).
