So just now, I was carrying some laundry from the bedroom to the washing machine. I tried to stack some more in my arms, as I had a big pile I was kind of holding in place with my chin. I brought my right hand up, and my thumbnail caught my chin and left a gash.
So help me, if this scars, I’m making up some cool adventure to go with it. “I got it while taming lions” sounds better than “freak laundry accident.”
I have a scar on my right hand from vertical blinds. I dropped my car keys behind the couch and when I picked them up my hand caught on the bottom of the blinds. Andrew thought I might need a tetnus shot, but I decided that if I got tetnus from vertical blinds, I probably deserved to die. Survival of the fittest and all.

I kinda like the sound of freak laundry accident. Now if you said mundane laundry accident THAT would be way different. Just say “freak Laundry accident and if I tell you about it I have to kill you.” Always works. I mean how many “Freak Laundry Accidents” do you hear about? (unless you live in a dry cleaners house.)

I have a scar on my right shoulderblade. Whenever anyone asks about it (few people have the occasion to see it), I say it was a gunshot wound. It kind of looks like an entrance wound, but not quite big enough. (It’s really from a cyst removal… how boring is that?)
I hope it doesn’t scar, but a good story is so much better than the truth. That reminds me… gotta go put the clothes in the dryer.
