Too short.

It’s a cute design, nice and floopy, so I flipped it over so you can see the back is flat.

I thought I’d knit something relatively quick on big needles, doing a few inches between hats. Only now I’ve used up an entire skein of Berroco Hip-Hop and realized that it’s not quite long enough to be halfway done. Two skeins would make it reach not quite to my belly button. The loops eat up the yarn like crazy.

I do have another skein, but in order for it to be as long as I want, I’d have to buy another skein. At $14 a skein. Making this a $42 scarf in materials alone.

Well, crap. I don’t know that anybody’s going to pay $50+ for this scarf. My stuff seems to appeal to the financially challenged. You know, like me.

So now I guess I carefully rip it out. Anybody know any good patterns for 2 skeins of Berocco Hip-Hop?

You can’t go wrong with a MY GOD MY EYES hip-hop style hat. The colors would be really good for that, it’s really a pretty neat-looking skein. I like those little shots of purple and blue.

Small poofy pillow, or maybe a really punky purse?
