Contest comments?

Okay, I think the contest, she eez about ready to be born. I welcome any comments, questions, criticisms, etc., especially from the knitters in the group. I have a rhino-thick hide, and I’d rather make changes early than late! Please consider going clicky-click and telling me what you think!

Ooh second from the left, second from the top is pretty yarn.

I don’t knit (any more), but I still have a bizarre six-year-old’s fascination with yarn.

I looove that stuff. I picked it up two years ago at Made in the Mountains/Yarns to Dye For in Hendersonville, NC, in the Appalachians. It’s a roomy shop with good selection, and I just couldn’t leave without getting something that the owner had dyed. I think it’d make something great for a baby, personally, for those who get tired of endless pastels.

I think it looks awesome, and like a Really Good Thing To Do. The only thing is that the pink on black stripes make my eyes bleed, or give me a seizure or something. But other than that… 🙂

You’re the second person to say that. I wonder if it’s showing up more vibrantly on other peoples’ monitors. Hm.

Ugh. You’re damned if you do and damned if you don’t. I should have just trusted ‘s original color scheme.

Completely unrelated to your contest and your site, but I had a quite dedicated fan of Firefly in the store today looking for the Serenity comics and so, all gods willing, might have sent a hat-luster your way. Her eyes lit up and everything. It’s nice to do that to people sometimes.

Thanks, sweetie! I’ve had a rush over the last few days – some guys are going to DragonCon on the 1st and want to wear hats when they meet the cast. One still to go, but it looks like they’ll all be taken care of!
