Do it right or do it again!

Em and I went to a garden shop today to grab a few herbs. Em also decided she wanted a flower to plant, and I was glad to let her pick one out and buy it for her. That’s a great summer activity for a kid, right? Planting a flower?

Apparently “planting” in Emilese means “supervising Daddy.” Heh.

So what flower did she choose? And you have an awesome yard! It’s so expansive! And I’m really “digging” Em’s dress.

She originally wanted a raspberry bush, but they were out. She settled on a Shasta daisy instead.

She wanted to wear it to morning camp today, but I talked her out of it. Good call – they did some kind of craft with shoe polish. Heh.

I planted a bunch of those at my old house. They’ll take over if you let ’em.

I agree with the comments above about Em’s dress. So cute!
