Yeah, in photos it’s hard to see, but in person it’s much clearer. My husband could see it from across the room.

However, I just dug through my stash, and I do in fact have another ball in the dye lot that the yoke is knitted with. Huzzah!

You know, even if I didn’t, it’s not so bad. I happen to know that Turtlegirl76 bought a bunch of that exact same shade from the exact same store at the exact same time that I did. Oddly, we didn’t even know each other then. Small world, eh?

Since it was bought in 2005, there’s almost no chance we could find the needed dye lot just through random internet searching, so we’ve come to a mutual yarn pact wherein if one needs an extra skein or two to finish a project, the other will provide it. Knitters unite!

Is that ice blue cotton-ease? If so, I still have some of that you sent me from some drawing or other. If you’re in a bind, I can check the dye lots of what I’ve got. Knitters unite, indeed. 🙂

You’re so thoughtful! The blue I have is “candy blue.” I think I gave you a different shade, but if I didn’t, then I probably have some of your dye lot here. Heh.

I think I’m okay, though. I have one more ball of the first dye lot, and with all the colorwork I don’t think I’ll need more than one more ball.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure mine is called “ice blue,” and when I looked at your picture again, I’m pretty sure yours is a darker blue. Oh, well, it’s the thought that counts. 😉

    BWAH!

Lucky for us both that I have some of the right dye lot left. Otherwise I’d be over at your place with a bag full of moths.
