Look at what my sharp-eyed husband noticed on the back of the washing machine last night. I’m making a trip to the hardware store today. This could have been a LOT worse. Good eye, hon.

Our washing machine is in our kitchen, next to the door leading to the main body of the house, so looking down you can see the washing machine plumbing. We got lucky, though – who the heck notices a black pipe in a dark 8 inch gap along a wall behind the washing machine?

Yeah, we got lucky! I just got a hose, and it cost less than ten bucks. I shudder to think what the cost would have been if I’d gone off with the machine running and come back to a soaked kitchen.
