Less victorious.
After knitting a few rows, I figured out yardage on that blue scarf I posted a couple of days ago. Turns out I’ll be 170 yards short if I go by the pattern. Oops. I’m going to rejigger the math to make it 1/3 skinnier, since that yarn cost $20 and I’m not spending another $20 for another skein. Anyway, the yarn store didn’t have another one in that colorway, so there.
Even less awesome, this afternoon Em started asking me what could get rid of cavities and probing one particular spot in her mouth. Then tonight, she came out of her bedroom and said she needed to brush her teeth again to make her cavity go away. On her way back to bed, she said, “I’ll floss in the morning.”
I know a little girl who’s going to the dentist tomorrow. Poor kid.
