FREE JAYNE HAT…

…or kit, your choice.

To the first Aussie/Kiwi/Brit/other foreigner to offer to send me some cash in an envelope in time for my kid’s Dec 1st school unit on foreign money. It doesn’t have to be much, just a bill or a few coins. If you’re an Aussie/Kiwi/Brit, that’s a $40 value (or $20 for the kit) for the price of whatever you toss in an envelope and send to me. It takes about a week to ten days for stuff to get here from overseas, so you’re gonna want to jump on this.

Drop me a line at heather at jaynehat dot com.

I’ve got a ton foreign currency, I’ve got some Costa Rican, I think some Irish pence, a few Austrian shillings. What would she prefer?

If you can spare something Costa Rican, that’d be great!

Aw, thanks, but my mom also has rubles that she’s willing to loan. She visited when it was still the Soviet Union, and hers have Lenin on them. What do they have on them these days?

I don’t want to put you out, but if you did feel like shooting one my way, I’d be glad to send you something. You knit, so I don’t know that Jayne hat would be up your alley, but I heard through the grapevine that you were looking for sock yarn. Your call!

Wow! I didn’t realize I knew so many world travelers.

That’d be swell, if it’s not an inconvenience.

Actually, I think they’re wanting examples of what people use now. They might be ready for a discussion of communism. If you’ve got a ruble to spare, I’d love to have it!

I do have a Japanese coin. I don’t want to take your Saudi bill if it’s the only one you have!
