sigh

My daughter won’t eat chocolate candy…

…but she just ate an entire egg’s worth of Silly Putty. For those wondering, “It tasted bad.” At least it’s non-toxic and non-irritating. Except to her parents, who had to run around figuring out what the heck to do.

Happy Easter, everyone!

ETA: She had another egg she was playing with, and we went over and over and over with her that she shouldn’t eat it. One guess as to whether she ate it.

ETA: ETA: What the hell?? We found a third empty Silly Putty egg. “Did you eat this?” “A little.”

She’s been banned from Silly Putty for life, and we took away her Play-Dough,too.

*snerk* I’m sorry, that is a little funny. And the stuff smells funky so I can’t imagine it would taste all that great.

Not one, not two, but *THREE* eggs worth? Duuuude. Even after it “tasted bad” in the first place.

Yeah, when I told her not to eat any more after the first one, she said, “because I might die.” I told her she wouldn’t die, but she still shouldn’t eat it.

Maybe I shouldn’t have corrected her. Maybe that would have worked. Heh.

Heh. I watched her for a while. She was pale briefly afterwards, but she’s fine now. I’ll tell you this: when it does come out, I won’t be posting and there won’t be pics. At least she has no school tomorrow. Yeesh.

If she eats Silly-Putty again, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was under dire circumstances. XD

I am so sorry, but I cannot stop giggling. Even though I know I should, and I would have been freaking out if my daughter did the same thing (and she has done some rather.. interesting wtfwereyouthinking things too..)

I can so empathize. My kid scratches the carpet until he scrounges up a ball of lint, then chews it like gum.
