This made my day.

I don’t usually share photos that folks send me of themselves in their hats, because it’s in e-mail. But this is on a forum.

Now that’s a happy Browncoat.

Speaking of photos, are any of these folks wearing your creations?

(this looks a little yellow, but that could just be the light. Pretty sure it’s mine.) http://www.flickr.com/photos/stomptokyo/39704984/in/set-873368/

(this I don’t think is mine, but they does look like it’s from my pattern. I modified the pattern a little since I posted it.) http://www.flickr.com/photos/stomptokyo/39705328/in/set-873368/

(This looks similar, but only two dangly bits from the ends. I use three.) http://www.flickr.com/photos/stomptokyo/39705681/in/set-873368/

Heh. You prompted me to e-mail a couple of my guys and ask if that was them. 🙂

Where can you get the pattern that you scribed? My mom knits and she would love to make somthing like that. She normally only makes baby blankets. She made a sock once… ONCE. (and just one. and she framed it)

    It’s on Craftster, this post:

I couldn’t find a Lopi that was just the perfect orange, so I switched the yarn to Lamb’s Pride Bulky in Autumn Harvest (orange), Sunburst Gold (yellow), and Rust (red). But really, use whatever. Jayne’s mom would. 🙂

    Trying a Jayne hat

Hey! Just thought I’d let you know I’m going to try my hand at making a Jayne hat as soon as I can find a place to buy the materials (my only local yarn supplier at the moment is a very small WalMart). I have nearly no experience knitting from patterns, and only recently learned to use double-pointed needles and whatnot, so it should be a challenge. I’m not too worried though – after all, Ma Cobb didn’t seem to be too concerned with perfection.

I e-mailed two of my guys, and they responded – it wasn’t them. They both said they were walking around in their hats, but aren’t in that gallery.
