Wow, the picture of the persimmons brings me back. I remember walking to school as a kid when I lived in High Point, and in the fall the sides of the road would be THICK with fallen and squished persimmons.

Good point! Hot and muggy! I walked out of the house and my glasses fogged up instantly.

Crasher Squirrel only pops up where it’s least expected!

The raccoons used to eat from the persimmon tree off to the side of our driveway. Then the power company cut it down. Now the raccoon eats out of the trash can.
Now the persimmon is growing back. Take that, Duke Energy!
