This bit from Schoolhouse Rock inspired one of my favorite Werewolf characters, a Black Fury named Dawnbringer. We were based in Eastern Kentucky circa 1914. She spent most of her Human life organizing suffragette rallies, nearly got thrown into jail after a boxing match when “will take on all comers” turned out to mean “will only fight men” and she refused to get out of the ring.
