Mr. Tvini had lost about 40 pounds biking, then hit a plateau for months. The wii fit helped him break through it, and he’s down another five, and he’s more muscular.
Of course, it’s only been about 20 days, so we’ll see if our attention wanders, but for now we’re having lots of fun. It may not be for everyone, but we’re geeky and video-game oriented enough that it’s very fun.
A recumbent bike from Target costs $200, a good treadmill costs $700 easy, and a wii console costs $300 + $175 (or so) for the balance board. We tried my Dad’s before deciding we wanted one. It’s a chunk of change to spend. Of course, it helps to have a family member offer you Christmas in July!
