The Observer interview

The article about me knitting cunning Jayne hats and other stuff for sale is live. Looks like this is as far as you can go before they make you register. So I’ve scanned it below, and I also have a copy of the whole page as a very nice, very clear pdf.

The Style page PDF.

Somebody’s reading it, because it’s not 8am yet and I’m getting Jayne hat inquiries from Charlotte. Tarheel Browncoats, unite!

The only, only thing I hope you don’t get too much of (and this is me being naturally cynical and worrying; otherwise, Big Damn Congrats on the neat article!), is a bunch of people emailing you the week before Christmas begging for Jayne hats to be made for them to give as gifts.

Yeah, but that really doesn’t bother me. I don’t have a magic crank I can turn that will make me spit out Jayne hats, so if I can’t help them, I can’t help them. I got the same thing before Halloween too. I wish them all luck, of course, but I won’t lose sleep over it.

That’s awesome! Great picture, article and placement. There’s just one thing: i thought you said the .pdf was clear, but there’s a disconcertingly blurred little patch by your web site. Are you somehow implying that you don’t want me to call you at 3 AM every Tuesday or place your phone number on the list for the Fireman’s Ball?

    Congrats on the great exposure!

Ha! It actually wasn’t blurred until a couple of hours ago, when I suddenly thought, “wait a minute… I know a lot of weirdos. Better blur that.”

    And see? I was right!

You look like you were having a lot of fun in that picture 😉 It’s a great article! I can’t believe Wear With Style is only a year old; you’ve done a great job with it.

Bwaha. That is just too cool. And the picture? The picture is perfection wrapped in a fuzzy scarf of hilarity. 😀
