Weak weak weak. Still so very, very weak.

Have no money. Am selling off possessions on eBay. No, really.

So why, why did I go into a yarn store? It was madness! Madness, I say!

Walked out with one skein of Colinette Tagliatelli.

Am now on severe yarn diet. Also, severe food diet if credit card gets declined. Whimper.

ETA: On the up side, I am fortunate to have kind friends like Tessima, who sent me the yarn I used to make this soft and funky firecracker scarf. Thanks, Tessima!

You’re so sweet! Thank you! However, the Momanddad foundation is coming to the rescue. It’s a bit embarassing when you’re in your thirties to have to accept the help, but with over 1k in outstanding speech therapy bills for Emily, I am simply telling myself that this is their way of doing grandparently things for their grandkid.

    Yeah, that’s it.

I agree. They brought you into this world – and you brought Emily into this world – so they’re responsible. I like that.

And, y’know, the first thing to conquering an addiction is to admit you have a problem. You’ve done that, so time to move on to step two. I think it’s the cold turkey stage. Or cold nanners. I’m not sure. I just always only know step one, because that’s where I stop. XOX

    Wow, that scarf is SHARP.

In other news, as soon as I can sit up for more than a half hour at a time, we’ll be dishing about your site, and you’ll be rich-rich-rich. Okay, busy-busy-busy.
