Business card printer?

has made me some truly awesome business cards, and I am seeking a good business card printer. Obviously, cheaper is better, but it’s more important for me to have good quality than the lowest price. Ponk’s cards just rock too hard to get screwed up.

Anyone got any tips or sources?

Anymore I just buy the business card paper and use my inkjet (or the color laser at Kinkos), though I have used Vistaprint.com to make my own in the past and they came out very good and the price was reasonable too.

That’s what I usually do too, since I include a care card with the Jayne hats I ship. Very convenient! However, the Serenity screenings to which I’m donating hats have kindly offered to hand out cards at the theater. These theaters usually sell out. In that kind of volume, I think I’m better off having it done by someone else than be chained to my printer.

Speaking of Jayne, I have to call Davidson to see if they have more of the red cotton I use for my earflaps, and if they’re open today. Why did I get so many cotton hats in a row? Argh!

    Error report for FACEexpress v2.3.2.2

Problem: Program stuck in infinite loop, user unable to disengage/quit. Program appears to freeze due to use of file ‘CheezyGrin.face’, possibly caused by interference from program PraiseMyWork 1.0. Please advise?

I *think* if you went with something like Kinkos, if you find the closest to those places that need them for the Serenity screenings you can have them printed at that shop and just have someone come pick them up, you can save yourself some shipping costs since their networks are all linked together.

Ha! They seriously are awesome. When they’re printed up, I’ll send you some.

No no, you don’t have to do that. I’ll most likely end up printing some examples for myself, for my portfolio. At uni I can print an A3 sheet for less than a dollar, so I wouldn’t want you to waste cash on international postage 😀

Vistaprint.com’s business card info page here.. there are some local indie folks we might be able to scare up. Hubby might know. Are we talking colored front & back or just one side?

My dad and stepdad are both printers who own small businesses, but they’re in California, so that would be silly. They are in an organization of printers, so I can see if they have any independant printers in your area. An offset press job looks so much nicer than something from kinkos. How many colors?
